Global Dance Open Switzerland

The dance competition "Global Dance Open Switzerland" will take place for the first time at the Parktheater Grenchen on May 25 and 26, 2024. Global Dance Open Switzerland serves as the qualifying tournament for the international final in the Netherlands in the summer of 2024.
 

In a single weekend, Global Dance Open Switzerland brings together the diversity of dance on one stage. Saturday is dedicated to Jazz, Contemporary, and Show Dance, while Sunday highlights Neoclassical Ballet, Lyrical, National/Folklore, Acrobatics, and Hip Hop/Street/Commercial. Solo artists, duos/trios, as well as small and large groups will perform their impressive choreographies. Spectators will witness outstanding performances from dancers aged 6 to 29 from all over Switzerland.

The top dancers will qualify for the Grand Finale from July 9 to 13, 2024, in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, where they will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in competition with dancers from over 40 countries.
