Global Dance Open FRIDAY

Get ready for a spectacular weekend of dance! Global Dance Open Switzerland is coming to the Parktheater Grenchen from May 16–18, 2025. As the official Swiss qualifier for the Global Dance Open Finals in Birmingham, England (July 14–21, 2025), this event also celebrates the best of Swiss dance talent in a national championship across multiple styles: Ballet Repertoire, Neoclassical, Contemporary, Jazz, Acrodance, National/Folklore, Lyrical, Hip-Hop/Street/Commercial, Showdance, Tap, and Musical Theatre (Song & Dance).

Over the course of three exciting days, dancers aged 6 to 29 will light up the stage with stunning solo, duet/trio, and group performances. The schedule is packed with variety: Friday features Tap, Solo Showdance, National/Folklore, Acro, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary Part 1. Saturday showcases Lyrical, Acro Duets/Trios, Showdance, and Jazz. Sunday rounds off the event with Ballet, Contemporary Parts 2 & 3, and Hip-Hop/Street/Commercial.

Don’t miss this celebration of artistry, passion, and the power of dance – and witness the moment when Switzerland’s top talents earn their place among dancers from over 40 countries at the Grand Finals in England.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. For wheelchair seating or any questions, feel free to contact us at switzerland@globaldanceopen.com. The seats are not numbered.
