English Stand-Up - Ger Staunton

English Stand-Up at Comedy Club 13 is back! This season we are bringing some of the highest quality acts from all over europe, as well as showcasing the best of the local swiss comedy scene right in the heart of Lausanne!

This show's headliner is Ger Staunton !

Described by the country’s longest running comedy club ‘The International’, Ger Staunton is “One of the best comedy writers in Ireland”.

Staunton is a regular headline act in his home country, as well as being one of the most internationally traveled performers to emerge from the green isle. He regularly tours America, Europe, the UAE, Scandinavia, the UK, and since the return of live entertainment in 2021 he has also brought his shows as far as Iraq and India.

Originally from the West of Ireland, Staunton draws on stories, insights, anecdotes and characters from this unique part of the world, and opens them up to a global audience.

Since his first solo show in 2017, Staunton’s work ethic has seen him produce a brand new 1-hour of material every year. These shows are toured around Ireland, Europe, and as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
