This session explores the foundations of cross-cultural understanding and the importance of adapting to new social, professional, and communication norms, especially when building a new life in a different country.

Led by leadership facilitator Trevor Holmes, this interactive training will help participants reflect on their own cultural assumptions and gain practical tools for navigating cultural diversity with greater awareness and confidence.

What we’ll explore together:

• What cultural codes are, and why they matter
• How to adapt to a new country’s unspoken norms while staying true to your identity
• The role of empathy, curiosity, and perspective-taking in cross-cultural relationships
• Tools to improve communication and collaboration in multicultural settings

About the Trainer
Trevor Holmes is an experienced facilitator and leadership coach who has worked extensively with international organizations and diverse teams across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His practical, people-first approach helps participants build self-awareness and cultural intelligence — essential skills for thriving in today’s global society.
